The Greensborough Junket League | Georgia Muenster
Muenster curated a series of city tours lead by Elsewhere staff, artists, and Greensboro citizens. She re-decorated Elsewhere's 6-person bicycle surrey as the tour vehicle, and organized a library shelf of collection travel books. Her project was a response to her observation that Elsewherians can be rather separate from Greensboro as a city, by attempting a collaborative re-envisioning and engagement with the museum's environs through surprise adventures.
Georgia Muenster is a curator, baker, way-finder, and organizer hailing from New York City, where she is a longstanding member and Curatorial Fellow of the arts collective Flux Factory. She received a BA in Art History from Bard College in 2008; she loves books, pie, and the endless exploration of the constructed urban environment.
