A-LIVE in the Kitchen is a cooking show with alive foods and friends, featuring cultures, yeasts, herbs, wild edibles and fungi as primary ingredients. A-LIVE in the Kitchen re-imagines the cooking show format as a platform for participatory culinary experiments, inviting local communities, puppets, and artists to broadcast a-live from Elsewhere’s kitchen commons. A-LIVE in the Kitchen is also an educational platform for intergenerational communities to understand the importance of a balanced and locally-sourced meal, notions of radical ecology and the art of cooking through play, humor and the magic of puppetry.
