99 Books About Love

99BooksAboutLove-38.jpg

99 Books About Love is a project about shelving, sharing and second-hands, collecting 99 books from people all over North Carolina that explore love in its many forms. The 99 selected books will be on sale at the Ackland Museum Store in Chapel Hill, NC during the exhibition More Love: Art, Politics, and Sharing since the 1990s from January 31 to March 31. Proceeds of the sale will help support Elsewhere’s QueerLab, a youth-led media project that will bring together queer identifying youth to produce a publication exploring LGBTQ experiences in the South. We hope you will join us in assembling and sharing sharing those stories, inscribing a bit of our own experience alongside the great love stories of all the ages.
