Jared Brown (Productions Assistant) is an electronics engineer, builder and former espresso machine mechanic from Virginia. He believes that learning is done by not just reading the writing on the wall but by playing with these words and even dissecting the wall itself.

Jessie Martin
Jessie Martin (Documentarian Fellow) is a photographer recently graduated from the University of Westminster, UK. She is interested in communities, how people respond to their environments, and the ways this can be researched, explored and recorded through a photographic creative practice. Her most recent work explores the use of space and the privatisation of public space in Britain.
Samantha Harthoorn
Samantha Harthoorn (Documentarian Fellow) comes from the Sunshine State where she was born and raised. She has a knack for collecting and creating dream-like spaces which makes her feel at home in Elsewhere. She feels most comfortable behind a large format camera, documenting the growth of her toddler aged brother. She enjoys bookbinding and eating ice cream, and with these skills will earn her BFA from Ringling College of Art and Design in Spring 2013.
Brennan Broome
Brennan Broome / Documentarian Fellow is an interdisciplinary artist and curator from Portland, Oregon. His work includes printed material, video, installation, and contextual art practices, which have been exhibited both nationally and internationally. Brennan is a co-director and curator at RECESS in Portland and holds a BFA from the Pacific Northwest College of Art.
Kay Kelley
Kay Kelley / House Fellow is seeking to sweeten 15 sour years of servitude within the hospitality industry by experimenting with creative, healthy and sustainable methods of producing, processing and serving foods. Prior to Elsewhere, Kay learned basic organic farming and herbal medicine skills on farms throughout the country and gained certifications in yoga and Thai massage at ashrams and yoga centers. After obtaining her BFA at Guilford College in Greensboro, she did a small stint in grad school, pursuing her passion: drawing and printmaking. She laughs obscenely loud and often.
