GSO Vibes: Elsewhere

LemonThyme Studio created this video about Elsewhere for their GSO Vibes series. It documents a moment in time where the museum was reopening after being closed for 15 months due to COVID. It also documents April Parker as our Arts Administrator In Residence after completing our Creative Catalyst Fellowship and before coming on full-time to become Elsewhere’s Managing Director (the full story on this soon!).

LemonThyme’s Andrea Santolim Geller and Kevin de Miranda ask: “What is Elsewhere? is a question that we attempt to answer for you in this episode. More than a museum, elsewhere is a unique artistic experience in downtown Greensboro.”

GSO VIBES is an ongoing film series that tells the stories of the Greensboro community.

“We are interested in telling the stories behind the food, art, music, and other culture that is created in GSO. If you are interested in having a story made, Please get in touch!”

Kevin de Miranda Video Producer at LemonThyme MediaI am a musician and filmmaker from Greensboro, North Carolina. I am currently running a videography business that creates content for businesses who want to build their brand with evocative, story-driven content. Until the COVID-19 Pandemic, I worked as a guitar teacher in Wenzhou, China, for a school with over 300 guitar students. I have a Master's degree in Classical Guitar Performance and I have performed in music festivals across the US, Europe, Japan, and China. As a student I traveled extensively and lived in Japan and Switzerland. I love learning languages and speak Japanese, Italian, and Chinese. Other than that, I run an online store, like to vlog, travel, run and do yoga, listen to podcasts, and hang out!
