We open the front windows of Elsewhere to make a stage for an open mic, headlining performer, and a closing performance by our host, Jaleel Cheek.
Open Stage is our all-inclusive variety show featuring talent from the state of North Carolina and more. In particular, we aim to raise awareness of talented professionals who so happen to be of intersectional identities which have been historically overlooked, misrepresented, and unheard. Join us as we tear the walls down in community celebration.

About Capra
Capra (@landofcapri) is a songwriter based out of North Carolina. As an advocate for authenticity, her craft always embodies some type of emotion. “While creating often occurs randomly, the artistry of song has always been a place I am able to flow freely”.

About Eugenius
North Carolina native Eugenius is a rapper, producer and songwriter. Born Timothy Eugene Peterson to a preacher and a playwright, he suffered from stage fright for most of his childhood. As a young teenager he found solace in hip-hop. Drawing inspiration from his faith and life experiences, he began putting his thoughts to music as a teenager and hasn't stopped since.
