  • Elsewhere Museum 606 South Elm Street Greensboro, NC 27406 USA (map)

Friday, January 28th and Saturday, January 29th, 2022 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. (30 Minute Shifts)

“Why does an oven exist?” is an art show by Alec Celis, one of our current Guest Relations Associates, who is a mixed-media artist based in Greensboro. The show exhibits his work from the past year. 2-D and 3-D works contemplating why we exist will be on display.

Come see an artist emerge into his career while supporting Elsewhere! The event is free admission but all donations will be accepted. In mindfulness of COVID-19 Omicron variant, we will be doing 30 minute shifts capped at 12 people.

We would like to give a special thank you to two organizations that made this possible.

The Cemala Foundation makes strategic investments that will enhance Greensboro’s quality of life for years to come. Much of their vision is to build a thriving economic community for the workforce and for the development of youth in education.

GuilfordWorks is one of twenty-three Workforce Development Boards located in North Carolina that collaborates with a multitude of businesses, educational and training institutions, community agencies, as well as local, regional, and state government representatives to help individuals and employers gain access to free or low-cost programs and services that connect talent to jobs. Their support helps us hire and cultivate more local talent in the Greensboro area.
