The Wind in the Wood (Take me Back to Carolina) | Jasper Lee & Leah Hamby

For the installation The Wind in the Wood, Kim Holleman’s infamous Toynado (2007) got a deep clean and new cinematic frame through the introduction of a rainbow of dolls, a cabin, and a set of mystical windchimes. As part of the opening of the reinstallation, Jasper Lee and Leah Hamby staged a performance that dealt with human desires to harness the power of natural forces.
