Lauren uses a corner of the collaboratory and creates the “relation station” a wall of interactive pieces that investigate identity, interaction, and physical contact. with “take a moment” she uses a fan that opens between two participants who are conversing and interrupts them by creating a divide between them, allowing the two to take a moment.
