Safe Place | Leslie Kelman

September 14, 2011 – October 18, 2011

Safe Place is a fabric fort installed in one of the former boarding house rooms on the second floor. The shelter suggests the warmth and familiarity of home, but does not offer the safety of a locked door, or even solid walls. Leslie is a builder of vernacular spaces and a researcher of group interactions and creative operations within those spaces.
