Moved to Motion was two improvisational solo performances curated by Hernandez which evoked the vulnerability of the performer and the evaluation of presence in performance through the smallest codes of human motions. This event featured work by Miami Goes Elsewhere 2016 participants, dancer/choreographer Pioneer Winter and saxophonist/composer Matthew Evan Taylor. Winter and Taylor are distinguished artists who have developed formidable reputations for their exploratory performance techniques and genre-blurring approaches to dance and music styles.
