Lauren Simkin Berke returned to Elsewhere in 2010 to make drawings on the walls of the the living room of the former boarding house at Elsewhere. The wall drawings were based on materials found in our collection:
a handwritten list found in the “historical society” archives on the 3rd floor
military ladies, trained in NC, April 1979, from academy year book, found during the reorganization of the “press office” on the 1st floor
camping items from catalog and postcard request for used army equipment, both found in “historical society” archives on 3rd floor
