I Don’t Do Boxes: Vol. 6 | Recipes for Resilience

I Don’t Do Boxes is a zine exploring LGBTQIA2S+ experiences in the Southeast and beyond. Each issue is edited and curated by an editorial team of LGBTQIA2S+ identifying youth in Greensboro, North Carolina, and we want your submissions!

Living within the pandemic has taught us about the importance of caring for ourselves as a way to care for eachother, which inspires our theme this year. We are now seeking submissions for the 6th installment of I Don’t Do Boxes: Recipes for Resilience. Send us your recipes for resilience, hope, home cooked meals, magic, events, art, medicines, collage, community care and self care from queer youth and young people for the 6th issue of I Don't Do Boxes, a LGBTQIA2S+ zine rooted in the southeastern U.S. Submissions are due by 12/13/21.

I Don’t Do Boxes is published at Elsewhere, a living museum set inside a former thrift-store in downtown Greensboro, NC.

Creative Catalyst Fellow and past IDDB organizer, Alyzza May, is leading this year! Submissions can be sent via email to our Creative Catalyst Fellow alyzza may: queerlab@goelsewhere.org
