CoLAB MediaCast | Spring 2012

Join us for a screening of media projects developed by CoLAB youth this spring!

When: Friday, June 1st | 7:30 - 8:30pm

Where: Elsewhere | 606 South Elm Street Greensboro, NC 27406

What: Throughout the spring, ten students from around the Triad have been exploring mobile media to share and tell stories inside Elsewhere's living museum and downtown Greensboro. CoLAB has provided a place to think critically and creatively about the role media plays in our everyday lives and ways to experiment with sound, photography, and video in playful ways. At the end of this CoLAB session, each student has been challenged to create a media-based experience to share online and inside the museum. Please join us for a MediaCast of these projects, refreshments, and first Friday festivities.

Support

CoLAB is supported by the Future Fund of the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro. The Future Fund offers a fresh approach to philanthropy. Its members are a group of young leaders from the Greensboro area who are committed to making our community a better place and improving the quality of life for all of our citizens. Future Fund members have this impact on their community by contributing to a permanent endowment that makes grants to build a better Greensboro. Special thanks to everyone at the Community Foundation and Future Fund for making this program possible!
