FORECAST : a silent art auction for Tomorrow
Forecast
September 28, 2013
We are delighted to announce Forecast, a silent art auction to be held on September 28, 2013 to benefit Elsewhere. The auction features work made by over 40 Elsewhere alumni artists from across the globe in a range of media– books, drawings, letterpress, painting, photography, printmaking, iron, textiles and wood. Forecast offers a diverse selection of contemporary art work emerging in the national art scene, not otherwise available in Greensboro, and priced for collectors both established and new. For the past ten years Elsewhere has been dedicated to supporting artist experimentation and practice, and Forecast is a prospect toward that future.

Absentee Bidding
Collectors who are unable to attend the event may bid remotely on any artwork in our silent auction. If you’d like to place an absentee bid, please contact navigation@goelsewhere.org by 4pm on Saturday, September 28 to set that up.
Bidding at the Event
No artwork will be sold for less than the minimum bid outlined on the auction sheet and catalog. The buyer submitting the highest bid amount will be the winner. Buyers have the option to choose a “buy now” price to end bidding and ensure their purchase at any time during the auction. Each item is auctioned as-is without warranty. All sales are final.
Check out
Upon the close of the silent auction, payment must be received and processed for all purchased works by the on-site auctioneers. If you are in attendance, we ask that you take home your purchased works the night of the auction. If you are not able to be present at the close of the event, you can speak with our on-site auctioneers about reserving your work with a credit card number and arrange a pick up time with them. Art work storage and delivery arrangements are the sole risk and responsibility of the buyer. Elsewhere accepts Visa, Mastercard, cash or check.
