GRAND REOPENING WEEKEND
Friday, June 2nd through Sunday, July 4th
HAPPENING: July 2nd 6-9PM - Ticketed: In-Person & Virtual
Meet our artists-in-residence and see their new works at the museum: Cara Hagan (Boone, NC), Mia Cinelli (Lexington, KY), Charis Fleshner (CO), and Sophia Sanders (Philadelphia).
PLAYSHOP: Saturday 11AM-12PM
Intergenerational maker space and skill-share workshop.
OPEN STAGE: Saturday 6-8PM
We open our storefront windows to make a stage facing the street, with open mic and headlining performer.
Elsewhere will reopen the museum to the public after being closed since March of 2020.
The grand reopening weekend will include a Happening on Friday night showcasing the new works by resident artists Cara Hagan, Mia Cinelli, Charis Fleshner, and Sophia Sanders. The following morning sees the return of Elsewhere’s longstanding Playshop maker and skill-share workshops with a focus on fostering truly intergenerational space. Saturday night, Elsewhere brings back another program, Open Stage, where the storefront windows open up to the sidewalk to feature an open mic and headlining performer.
After the weekend, the museum will return to regular open hours of FRI 6-9PM, SAT 11-9PM, SUN 12-5PM
